First Year Fee (To be paid to KEA at the Time of Admission)

At the time of MBBS admission, interested students are required to pay the full first-year fee to the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The breakdown of the fee structure at St. John Medical College is as follows:

Important Notes:

1. The annual fee does not include hostel and mess fees.
2. Late payments will incur a penalty.
3. Students with extended academic tenures due to failure will need to pay additional installments beyond the regular schedule.
4. Refundable deposits should be claimed within three months of completing the rural bond; otherwise, they will be forfeited.

Fee Refund Policy on Discontinuation of the Course

• If the course is discontinued before it begins, fees will be refunded after a 10% deduction as a service charge.
• If the course is discontinued after it begins, the student is required to pay the full fee for the entire MBBS course, along with a penalty for not fulfilling the two-year Social Obligation Service.
