Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology was established in 1983 and was later granted University status and became Netaji Subhas University of Technology or NSUT. It is an autonomous institution under the Government of NCT of Delhi. It is approved by the AICTE and recognized by the UGC. NSUT offers BTech, BArch, and BDes at the UG level, MTech, MBA, MSc, and MA at the PG level, and PhD at the doctorate level. NSUT Ranking by Outlook was 24th out of 25 management colleges in 2025.
NSUT offers BTech as its flagship program. To be eligible for admission, a candidate must secure a minimum of 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The final selection is based on the JEE Main exam scores followed by JAC Delhi Counselling. NSUT cutoff for JEE Main 2024 for General Category BTech admission ranges from 4378 – 63963 ranks. NSUT fees for BTech is INR 10.58 lakhs.
According to NIRF Data, the NSUT Placement 2023 concluded with 977 students getting placed in the BTech department. The median CTC recorded was INR 17 LPA. 86 students went for higher studies. Some of the recruiters were Google, Avaya, Deloitte, Honeywell, HCL, IBM, Ibibo, Digital Green, GRMALTO, Ciena, Amdocs, Axtria, etc.

Admission and Eligibility
MBBS:
- Eligibility: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing at least 50% marks.
- Entrance Exam: Admission is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) scores.
B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing:
- Eligibility: Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 45% marks.
- Entrance Exam: Selection is through an entrance examination conducted by the college.
Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS/MDS):
- Eligibility: Applicants must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized university.
- Entrance Exam: Admission is through NEET-PG for MD/MS and NEET-MDS for MDS programs.
Cutoff Ranks
Admission cutoffs vary annually based on factors like exam difficulty and seat availability. For the MBBS program, the NEET-UG Round 1 cutoff rank in 2024 was 826 for General category candidates.
Fee Structure
- MBBS: Approximately ₹7,400 per annum.
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing: Around ₹29,400 for the entire course.
- MD/MS: Tuition fees are about ₹39,000 per annum.
