Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Indian citizens and candidates from Jammu & Kashmir are eligible. Foreign nationals may apply through the Ministry of External Affairs.
Age: Must be between 17 and 24 years as of December 31, 2025.
Marital Status: Unmarried candidates only. Marriage during the course is not permitted.
Educational Qualification:
Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCB and at least 50% in each subject and English .
Medical Fitness: Candidates must meet the medical standards set by the Armed Forces
Admission Process
NEET UG Examination: Candidates must qualify the NEET UG 2025 exam.
Registration: Apply online through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website during the NEET counseling registration window.
Shortlisting: Based on NEET scores, approximately 1,880 candidates (1,490 boys and 390 girls) are shortlisted for further screening.
Screening Tests at AFMC, Pune:
Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning (ToELR): Computer-based test with 40 multiple-choice questions.
Psychological Assessment Test (PAT): Qualifying in nature.
Personal Interview: Assessing the candidate’s personality and suitability for a career in the Armed Forces.
Medical Examination: Conducted to ensure medical fitness.
Final Merit List: Prepared based on NEET score, ToELR, and interview performance .

University Fees: ₹2,830
Mess Charges: ₹5,550
Other Charges (Uniforms, Hostel Linen, Bicycle, etc.): ₹42,500

Service Liability Bond
Mandatory Service: Upon completion of the MBBS course, candidates are commissioned as Medical Officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services.
Bond Agreement: Candidates must sign a bond to serve a minimum of 7 years.
Penalty for Non-Compliance: ₹30,00,000 if the service obligation is not fulfilled .
