Bharti Vidyapeeth New Law College Pune was established in 1978. It is one of the premier institutes of international excellence in legal education. The college has approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI) & University Grant Commission and has been re-accredited with an ‘A+’ Grade by the NAAC (3rd cycle). NLC also enjoys accreditation from universities such as Oxford University, the University of Sussex, The Law Society of England & Wales, King’s College, Birmingham University, and many more.
NLC offers programs in LLB (3 years), BBA LLB (5 years), BA LLB (5 years), LLM (Trimester & 2-year course), and Ph.D. in Law. Besides the above regular courses, the college provides a variety of Diploma and Certificate courses in specific fields, which include Labour Law, Taxation Law, Arbitration Law, Human Rights, Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Laws, and Corporate Laws.
The fees for undergraduate courses are set at INR 66,000 for LLB 3 years and INR 4.57 lakhs for B.A. LLB & BBA LLB, INR 1.02 lakhs for LLM. The diploma course fees are set at INR 12,000 for any specialization. As per the report of NIRF 24, 84 LLB, 302 BA LLB/BBA LLB, and 47 LLM students were placed during NLC Pune placements.
