Established in the year 1924, the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi is a premier central government-aided law school. Accredited by NAAC, It offers admission to BA LLB, LLB, LLM, and PhD courses. Admission to BA LLB course is based on CLAT UG score, while for admission to LLB and LLM courses, CUET UG and CUET PG scores.
According to NIRF 2024, the Faculty of Law at DU is ranked 9, emerging as one of India’s top government law colleges. Today, the department houses over 7,000 students and 130 faculty members, making the student-to-teacher ratio approximately.
